Resurrection Council was founded in 2001 through the efforts of the John Konkel, Ken Mueller and Berry Hobbs at the request of Father Donald Schmitz of Resurrection Church. By a vote of its charter members, the name of the council is Resurrection Council. The Resurrection Council works closely with the Resurrection Parish in Rochester, Minnesota, providing funds for various projects, and participating in various parish and council related events. All of the council members are active participants in their parish.
